American Rallies from Two Sets Down to Reach Quarterfinals
Taylor Fritz pulled off one of the most stunning victories of Wimbledon on Monday, rallying from two sets down to shock fourth seed Alexander Zverev in a five-set thriller.
The 13th seed lost the first two sets 4-6, 6-7(4), but he refused to give up and fought back to win the next three sets 6-4, 7-6(3), 6-3.
Fritz's win was all the more impressive because Zverev had not lost a single set in his previous four matches at Wimbledon.
The American will now face eighth seed Matteo Berrettini in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
