Hansi Flick has been appointed as the new manager of the Germany national football team, replacing Joachim Löw after the team's disappointing exit from Euro 2020.
Flick, who previously managed Bayern Munich to a historic treble during the 2019-2020 season, returns to the role he held as assistant manager from 2006 to 2014.
The 56-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the German Football Association (DFB) and will take charge of the team ahead of their upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign.
